The idea for Skye Ridge Investments came from a personal journey. After 13 years in IT, my wife and I found ourselves struggling financially despite what looked stable on paper. No matter how hard we worked, we came up short every month. When our daughter was born in November 2022, the weight of our situation became unbearable. Our finances were in disarray, our marriage was strained, and the guilt of bringing our baby into such chaos was overwhelming. I was juggling two full-time jobs while trying to be present for my family, but it wasn’t sustainable. Eventually, we filed for bankruptcy and I left my second job. This tough decision allowed us to find some balance and stability.

Not long after, a friend reached out for help selling her parents’ distressed home, knowing I had dabbled in real estate. The property was in rough shape and not suitable for a traditional listing, but this opportunity changed everything for me. Working with a mentor, we sold the house, and everyone involved benefited. That experience opened my eyes to the fact that I could help others facing similar struggles while creating a better future for my own family. That’s when Skye Ridge Investments was born.
